Bathrooms are typically small spaces and dark colors can often make a small space feel even smaller. But don’t think that means you have to stick with white wall though. Most paint colors can be toned down to an acceptable hue for a business bathroom.

2. Install large bathroom mirrors.

One of the easiest ways to update a small space is to install large mirrors. Mirrors give the illusion that a smaller space is bigger than it actually is.

In addition, consider upgrading the lighting fixtures. Changing out bathroom lighting fixtures can help you modernize the space without having to spend much money.

3. Invest in motion activated dispensers.

To improve hygiene in your office bathroom, install motion-activated faucets, soap dispensers, paper towel holders and hand dryers. The fewer surfaces that are touched, the fewer germs that have the potential to spread throughout the office. And your associates will thank you when flu season comes around.

4. Get additional storage to hide bathroom supplies.
